Day 6 – Catch 云海, Itashao (伊达邵), and Xuan
Guang Si (玄光寺)
Had to wake up early just to catch云海, gather at 5.40am at the counter and the owner will
bring us up the hill to catch 云海. I guess it was still misty so we couldn’t really watch it. But well, I
kind of managed to catch the sunrise.
After that we ate breakfast provided by the minsu. The breakfast is
individual set, not buffet style. We went to the ferry terminal, 水社码头 to buy the ferry ticket, student price is NT$250. It
will bring us across the Sun Moon Lake to two islands. One island sells the
famous 茶叶蛋 and where the
temple is, the other island is where the Formosan theme park is. We didn’t go
to the theme park so just walk around and bought small snacks along the way.
The shops there sell mostly souvenirs.
Nothing much to do at Sun moon lake as well so we just slack inside the
room do our own things for the rest of the day.
