Day 3 – Cingjing, 小瑞士花園 & Carton king


Leaving Taichung to go Cingjing today. Took any bus from Taichung railway station to go Gancheng which is just 1 or 2 stops away then walk to the bus company. We took the 9.25am Nantou bus to Cingjing. The journey is around 2hr plus. We missed our stop so we had to go back down to reach our minsu. Luckily is downhill and not uphill. The minsu that we are staying in is Vienna Pleasance Cottage 维也纳庭园木屋. The check in time is 3pm but we reached around 11plus so we went to walk around first.

We went to Carton King to have our lunch. To be honest, the food is just average but I’m not sure about the steamboat. They gave us free entrance tickets to Small Swiss Garden. Luckily we went to eat at carton king first. So we went there after lunch, it’s actually quite small but we took lots of photos. 





It was evening time when we finally checked in to our minsu. We ordered the hotpot at the music restaurant at the minsu. They say their hotpot is the most famous in Cingjing, I wonder if it’s true haha. It’s really nice and I love their soup and mushroom. The best time to eat hotpot when the weather is cold.
