Day 5 – Sun moon lake
 
Booked the bus through the minsu to bring us to Sun Moon Lake and it will bring us directly to our minsu at Sun Moon Lake. So after breakfast the bus came to fetch us. The Vienna Pleasance Cottage has a cat called MoMo, quite sad that I didn’t get to take a photo with it before we left.

The bus journey was around 2hrs. I had ear blockage again when we went downhill. For the whole Taiwan trip I kept getting ear blockage. The minsu that we stayed in is Laurel Villa. We were early for checked in so we went to walk around the street first. The street quite short just one whole round, mostly sells souvenirs.  We went to eat lunch at moon café; they have free Wi-Fi as well. At first it was still sunny then it became misty and it was cold. Finally checked in to our room. The rooms are nicely decorated and they go by themes. Our room is called green and the theme is bird. They have no lift so we had to carry our luggage up; luckily we stayed at the second floor. The floor is made of a special wood so we had to change to their slippers and leave our shoes at the cabinet before going up to our room. 

We went to walk around the ferry terminal. The lake is actually sun lake and moon lake so put together is sun moon lake. Lols.  For dinner we ate the minsu’s hotpot. I bought the beef one for NT$230. It was not bad.  I think I kind of got sick of hotpot after this haha. They provide free drink as well. A choice of milk tea or red tea.
