My story. My life


Just came back from Teens I.D.O.L camp
it was awesome
had my bit of fun
and the hot topic for the camp was PJ

Day 1

gathered at northpoint as they provided shuttle bus to the camp site which is a sec school
gathered in our game groups and we had to think of a group name, a cheer and do a group flag
as the camp theme is x-man thus our group is called storm
unfortunately, there's 2 more groups that are storm as well
played a game called ' who stoled professor's X wheelchair'
it's like amazing race around the whole school
it's fun actually and our group is actually able to bond together which is a good thing
at night we were split into our various school
watched the movie ' how to train a dragon'
popcorns were provided and it reminded me of my work -.-

Day 2

i'm in the school of leader 2 ( SOL 2) and we had to lead a group of p6 kids from Gkidz
that's their way of training to be a leader
went to vivocity with the Gkidz to have amazing race
it was damn tiring and challening to lead the kids
i remember the last station where we had to choose to blow the balloons until they burst or pick up a millworm with your bare hands for 5 metres
we ended up doing the millworm activity
it was damn digusting to me but i managed to do it
although our group didnt win but at least the kids had their fun which was a good thing
after that we went to teensXcite
i tried my best to be a good leader but i know there's space for improvement
thank God Vanessa and I are able to partner well, supporting each other
thank God the kids arent that hard to handle as i expected it to be
back to the campsite
as we are the leaders we had to let them bath first
had dinner and we bid farewell to them as we return back to SOL 2
had group sharing our experience for the day
and our group ended up talking abt jokes as well
it was supper time
they called the ice-cream man to come and we get to eat ice- cream but i didnt eat
dun ask me why
had the ' who act the best' activity
it dragged all the way till 12am
bathed and by the time i get to sleep it was near to 2am
super tired and i ended up sleeping with my wet hair
we slept in the classroom btw

Day 3

planned to wake up at 7.15 since the reporting time is 8
but i was woken up by noise at 6plus
and when i finally woke up at 7, all the Gkids were alrdy up and packing their stuff
only left the Gkidz leaders and us who were still sleeping
i was once that energetic
had breakfast and continued with our sessions
after lunch we had to do area cleaning
i was alrdy damn tired
finally we were able to go at 4 plus
overall the camp is fun and a whole new experience
it doesn't seems like a sunday today
