My story. My life
things I want to thank God for 2009:
1. my participation in Chingay 2009
it's was the most fun and happiest dance event i ever took part in
it gave me a whole new experience
like how it feels dancing on roads, performing for so many audience, doing magic tricks and many more
it also allowed me to make new friends
2. The class that i'm in
although there's some people who i wish they aren't in my class
but there are also some people who i want to know like my group of friends
you know who you are i don't need to list it all out right
p.s friends thanks for putting up with my lame jokes, i know you really felt like killing me
3. chinese dance
the 1st time i felt so broken because of dance
so what if i had put in all my effort, there's no" i " in a team
although the result wasn't good
but through it, it really showed me what is teamwork
and i suddenly remembered what my cell leader said
if for example God's plan was for you fail your ' o ' level
are you able to take it ?
actually i dun really remember what she said, i just remembered how i felt
the main point abt it is that - are you able to believe in God that he has a plan for you
wat's the link?
well i failed in my chinese dance but so what, i believe that God has a better plan for me and i'm gonna move on
it doesn't matter anymore
4. My studies
nope i didn't do well for it, instead i did damn badly
i was even on the edge on giving up
i'm like wat's the point? you're gonna fail anyway wat's the point of studying?
and nv in my life time did i felt like such an epic failure
well you broke me real hard
but i thank you for it because this had made me want to work even harder
and i wanna stop procrastinating
5. Class camp
i get to know my classmates better , to have fun together
and i guess it will be the 1st and the last camp we had
and i really missed it =(
6. AEM
i guess this is the only group photo we took
it's was fun, and very interesting
what made it fun as well was the epic moments
etc, milk= cow juice
7.Class chalet
broke the record of not sleeping for 1 whole day
1st time went to watch sunrise with friends
1st time riding bicycle in the rain-not a drizzle but a damn heavy rain
damn fun but cold as well
learned how to play cards and thank God whenever i play, we did not played with forfeit included haha
8. Band
yes i know whatcha thinking
nope i'm not mad or what
i got to learn to play saxophone
not very good but at least can play 1 song haha xD
i got to have the experience of how it feels like being a drum major
well i did not regret making the decision of leaving
9. My cell group
there are still some more friends but they are not in the photos
i know there's problem in the groups
but we are not prefect and we are trying our best to accept the things
10. Dance camp
it was fun but tiring as well
1st time dance so long
from morning all the way to night and it was for 3 days
but i learned how to dance hip hop and others
dance is my passion
i really want to get in the dance team
11. Gkidz
although it was just for 2 months but it gave me great experience
i'm the kind that dun really like kids and i'm amazed that i went to help out
it gave me a better impresion of kids
12 .Christmas
the most epic and happiest christmas i ever had
the 1st time i recieved a few presents during christmas
thank you for all the present
got to meet my besties again and all is good =)
P.S hey next time let's do it again- crashing at bibi's house
13. Frisbee
got to learn how to play frisbee
it was so not simple as i thought it is
hard and confusing
totally don't get what i'm doing
was just plain following instruction
sorry for the team i was in, sorry to pull you down
it's tiring but it's fun =)
14. Cell Group chalet
the cell was combined and so i got to know more friends
getting to meet interesting people
it thought me how to be a better sponsor, to know what to do
it's a whole new experience
and it's not just abt having fun, there's more to it
thank you for making this chalet possible
thank you for providing for us
thank you for this chalet that we get to draw nearer to you, to be a better disciple
15. My besties
thank you for answering my pray and you healed her
thank you that although we had gotten busier but we are still together, to have a strong relationship
I have been thinking that this year had been a bad year
but when i look back , it wasnt really that bad as i thought
the only thing that made me feel that this year is a bad year is mainly because of my studies
how could i have allowed my studies to affect me
i want to conquer it, to learn to conquer my bad habits
stop procrastinating!
for me this year is summarised by psalms 116
